I can&#039;t see an immediate reason why the links wouldn&#039;t count, but then again it&#039;s possible that they&#039;ve manually set it to not follow links that are clearly in their search results. If I was Google, that&#039;s probably what I&#039;d do.</description>

		<description>I remember reading some Googler saying they didn&#039;t count links from their own domain. Wonder if this was a blanket policy or based on robots.txt. Can&#039;t find the quote now, sorry.</description>
